Dr. Truong holds a B.Sc. with honours in Cellular Molecular and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary. He obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Alberta in 2005, and completed his Family Medicine Residency training at the University of Calgary in 2007. He is a director for the Truong Education Foundation, whose stated mission is to advance and support education in communities of need. He was the former Treasurer and Board Member for the Mosaic Primary Care network, and continues to be the Physician Lead for the Medical Home Support Program. He currently practices Family Medicine in Calgary and has special interest in Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, Heart Failure, and Hepatitis.
