The Calgary Vietnamese Association for Encouragement of Learning is a not-for-profit and non-religious organization founded in 1997. We provide free educational support by way of tutoring, academic guidance, and scholarships to Vietnamese youth in Grades 7 through 12 in the city of Calgary.
Some of our mandates are:
Procure the delivery of lectures and academic support in the areas of social studies, mathematics, science, and English;
To provide a hub for Vietnamese youth to gather to build on their socio-emotional well-being;
To have the necessary equipment and necessary resources to facilitate and provide programming;
To provide and operate classes for continuing education and support to vulnerable and low socio-emotional Vietnamese youth; and
To recognize academic excellence by way of awarding scholarships and bursaries.
Your generosity and kindness will allow us to support Vietnamese immigrant youths in the city of Calgary. Any donation or sponsorship is greatly appreciated and helps support our programs and students.
In recognition of generous support, sponsors who contribute at higher levels will receive special sponsor status and the opportunity to have their events and initiatives promoted through BKH channels.
